Where it fits

A side window, the quarter glass behind a door, a tumbler or a water bottle. Any hard, smooth surface takes a decal: glass, paint, metal, hard plastic. Read how to apply a vinyl decal before it goes on.

How it goes on

  1. Wash the spot with soapy water, dry it, then wipe it with rubbing alcohol.
  2. Tape the decal across its middle, step back and check it sits level.
  3. Peel one half of the backing, press from the tape outward with a card, then do the other half.
  4. Peel the top sheet back on itself, slowly and close to the surface.

About this design

Three brush characters for champion

The three characters 優勝者 run top to bottom in a bold brush style, each stroke thick with tapered ends and a slight swell where the brush pressed. The first character is the busiest, with small closed spaces inside it. From a distance the column reads clearly, and the tapered tips show up close.

Down the narrow rear quarter glass, the three characters stack the way they were drawn. A gym bottle or a locker door works as well. Martial artists, competitors and anyone who has earned a title in the ring or on the mat will know what it says.

Before it goes on glass

Keep any decal off the windshield. On the rear window, California, Texas and Florida tie a decal to outside mirrors on both sides, New York bars stickers its DMV commissioner has not authorized, and your own state may differ, so read its vehicle code.
