Where it fits

A side window, the quarter glass behind a door, a tumbler or a water bottle. Any hard, smooth surface takes a decal: glass, paint, metal, hard plastic. Read how to apply a vinyl decal before it goes on.

How it goes on

  1. Wash the spot with soapy water, dry it, then wipe it with rubbing alcohol.
  2. Tape the decal across its middle, step back and check it sits level.
  3. Peel one half of the backing, press from the tape outward with a card, then do the other half.
  4. Peel the top sheet back on itself, slowly and close to the surface.

About this design

A bowed head under thorns

A bowed head in three-quarter view, eyes closed, wears a crown of thorns that wraps the brow in tangled, spiky cuts. Long hair falls in flowing locks to one side and the beard runs down in loose strands. The hair and crown are dense with fine cuts that reward a close look, while the profile of the face reads from a distance.

The small window behind the driver's door suits a portrait like this, upright, where you see the bowed head each time you walk up to the car. Choose it if you want your faith quietly visible on the daily drive, without a verse or a slogan beside it.

Before it goes on glass

Keep any decal off the windshield. On the rear window, California, Texas and Florida tie a decal to outside mirrors on both sides, New York bars stickers its DMV commissioner has not authorized, and your own state may differ, so read its vehicle code.
