Where it fits
Where it fits
A side window, the quarter glass behind a door, a tumbler or a water bottle. Any hard, smooth surface takes a decal: glass, paint, metal, hard plastic. Read how to apply a vinyl decal before it goes on.
How it goes on
How it goes on
- Wash the spot with soapy water, dry it, then wipe it with rubbing alcohol.
- Tape the decal across its middle, step back and check it sits level.
- Peel one half of the backing, press from the tape outward with a card, then do the other half.
- Peel the top sheet back on itself, slowly and close to the surface.
About this design
A slim cat and a curling tail

A cat sits with its back to you, drawn as one smooth solid shape: pointed ears, a round head, a long narrow neck and a rounded base. Fine whiskers fan out on both sides. The tail is a single thin line that loops around the base, then climbs high above the head and finishes in a spiral. From farther off, the tall curve of the tail does the work.
For a car, the small rear quarter glass is a neat spot, the tail climbing toward the roof. Cat people can also put it on a water bottle. Press the thin tail down slowly, since it is the narrowest part of the cut.
The animals and pets shelf holds 13 more designs beside the Sitting Cat, and every one belongs to the Ranger Pro range.
Before it goes on glass
Keep any decal off the windshield. On the rear window, California, Texas and Florida tie a decal to outside mirrors on both sides, New York bars stickers its DMV commissioner has not authorized, and your own state may differ, so read its vehicle code.
