How the type changes what the words say

On a lettering decal the typeface does half the talking. Blessed is set in an old uncial hand that swells and tapers like a broad pen, Praise the Lowered and Mexican Pride use the sharp, dense strokes of blackletter, and Old School writes itself in brush script with a long swash off the O. Proud Grandpa, Team Aspie and Drink Local look written with a thick marker, loose and a little uneven.

Weight decides how far a line carries. God Bless Our Troops, I Love My Dad and This Side Up are heavy block capitals with nothing thin in them, so they read several car lengths back. Bad Cop, No Donut and I'm Retired, Go Around! mix a light script with block letters, and the script is the part you take in last.

Questions

Lettering decals: what people ask

Which Ranger Pro lettering decal reads farthest behind your car?

The ones with nothing thin in them: God Bless Our Troops, I Love My Dad and This Side Up, all in heavy block capitals. Script and blackletter, as in Old School and Praise the Lowered, carry their thick strokes from a distance, but the hairlines show only when the driver behind you is close.

Can you get a Ranger Pro name decal with your own name on it?

The names here are set, not made to order. I Love Aiden spells that one first name, and Proud Grandpa, I Love My Dad and the POPS oval name a family role. If one of them already fits the person you have in mind, it is ready as it is.
